Next trip

Every time we get to visit - we always talk about the next time we will get to see each other. This makes it seem like it won't be that long between visits. This is the hardest thing for me in my life - to be so far away from my daughter and best friend. We always have so much fun together. I am so blessed to have Alicia, she teaches me so much by her good example.
So anyway..........gotta start saving right now for my next trip!!!!

I had a great visit to Louisiana. Alicia and I didn't do anything special - we were trying our best not to spend money. So we just hung out - went to our favorite shops - did some crafts and found a new bargain place to shop called Dirt Cheap. We also got to go to a store that is only open once a month to the public. It had lots of great stuff in it also. I actually had worked hard on my holiday boutique before going to Louisiana and was able to staff away some spending money........so Jim still thinks I only spent $100 while I was there and he is trying to figure out how in the heck I pulled that one off!!! Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.......

The kids having a blast in Ryan's backyard! Austin was such a sweet big cousin, pushing Emily on the swing.

Ryan and Dawn put a lot of work into creating a great backyard play area for their entire family. Check it out!

It was fun to go to Austin's Football practice with him and watch what a great little athlete he is becoming. Ryan has just poured some water on Austin's head - because he was so hot and sweaty........thus the reaction on Austin's face!!!

While we were in Utah for the Harris Family Reunion, McKinley showed off her Hula Hoop expertise.....AKA, Hoopa Loop!!! I didn't get a great video clip of it. Once she gets going, she can really keep the hoop going!!! She has so much determination in her face and hands, we were cracking up!!!

We went to the Harris Family Reunion last weekend and had a great time visiting with all of our relatives!! The whole event was so much fun!

Another Fun La Petite Event! We had a family dinner last night and the entertainment was this Indian Dance Group. Our Infant care-giver, Zaydee is the lead dancer in the group. It was awesome!!! We were a little worried because the drums were really loud and the neighbors in the apartments next door were coming outside. But then we could see that they were taking pictures and applauding right along with us, so it was great!

I am putting a DVD together for the Harris Family reunion and came across this picture of my Grandma Faulk, with Judi and I. She was the BEST grandma ever - I always think about her and hope I can be like her in the eyes of my grandchildren!!!

The school age classroom had a "talent show"today and the girls did a little dance. It was so cute!!!

Rayna is 6 years old today.....where in the heck does the time go!!!

Mexican Fiesta

school Mariachi Band came and played. They were

so good and the kids loved it!!! Fun night!!

INTRODUCING THE FAMOUS DAVE KLINE FIELD!!!! Dave is retiring this year and after 30 years of coaching on this field, he is getting it formally named after him. We are proud of you Dave......it's nice to know someone famous!!! We hope you don't change...............lol

Grandpa's 82nd Birthday Party

While we were up in Willits, we saw this cute little fawn with it's mother. They were about 5 ft away from Grandpa and Grandma's back deck.

We went to see Rayna's Kindergarten concert

last night. Look how animated she is. She was

cracking us up. Isn't she the shy one?

My birthday surprise

The biggest surprise of my life. I thought I was just going to dinner with two of my best friends and Alicia. When I walked into the restaurant, all of my "girls" were there along with most of my family. What a huge shocker!!!! Lots of fun for an old lady's birthday!!!
